Portal is a visual effect achieved through the use of geometry nodes and a particle system, attached a spiral. Initially a challenge from a fellow VFX artist, Portal, started as an exploration into geometry nodes and soon became a small obsession into spirals and fractal expansion sets. The end result being a particles system attached spiral that fades over time, bringing Marvels’ Dr. Strange “Sling Ring” effect to every household.
